“Jism 2” had good 1st day but as we predicted, film had epic fall on Saturday due to bad content and negative word of mouth. Film had comparatively better numbers on Sunday in comparison to Saturday but still it was lower than Friday.



Film is a classic example of huge publicity machinery and hype surrounding the casting ensuring huge opening but bad content coupled with exceptional negative word of mouth made it difficult for the film to even survive with decent numbers over 1st weekend. Last film to had such result was “Tees Maar Khan”.



Film was poor in CI, CP and Maharashtra and even other metros were not too good. Film is struggling and it will find really tough to survive on weekdays. Film collected 5.75 cr nett as per early estimates on Sunday and that means film will have a weekend of 19 cr nett in 1st weekend that too including 1 cr from preview shows.



Film is heading for 24-25 cr nett 1st week and lifetime collections of 30 cr nett at max which are poor figures considering the 1st day numbers and hype. Film will be a losing proposition for distributors who paid hefty price for the film.
